Cultural & Educational Visits is a project of interactive museum visits and cultural walks designed to make cultural exploration engaging, accessible, and meaningful. We rethink the traditional museum experience by transforming visits into active journeys that combine discovery, play, and shared participation.
Instead of passive guided tours, we create carefully designed formats built around quests, thematic routes, and playful interaction. Each visit invites participants to explore exhibitions from a new perspective — through storytelling, dialogue, and hands-on tasks that encourage curiosity and involvement. Museums become spaces not only for observing, but for asking questions, interacting, and reflecting together.
A distinctive element of the project is the integration of cultural and language learning. Depending on the format, visits may include gentle, contextual exposure to the Portuguese language, helping participants connect words, meanings, and cultural references through real experiences. In other cases, we design thematic quests linked to specific exhibitions, historical figures, houses-museums, or cultural events and holidays, allowing even familiar spaces to be rediscovered in unexpected ways.
Cultural Visits are developed individually for each group, taking into account age, language level and cultural background. Based on our experience, both children and adults engage more deeply with this interactive approach than with traditional excursions. By turning cultural visits into shared experiences, the project supports cultural integration, active participation, and a deeper sense of connection to Portugal, Porto, and its cultural heritage.
